[00:00.00]No Place Like Home (Commentary) - Cynthia Erivo
[00:00.27]Lyrics by：Cynthia Erivo
[00:00.39]Composed by：Cynthia Erivo
[00:00.51]"No Place Like Home" originally is said by Dorothy
[00:03.85]And so to take those words
[00:06.09]And then put them into the Wicked Witch of the West's mouth
[00:09.46]It's a big responsibility
[00:11.15]So I wanted to make sure that if we were saying that
[00:13.62]If that was what was going on
[00:14.90]There was a reason and that it meant something
[00:17.25]The song sort of becomes her theme throughout
[00:20.21]So it's sort of the thread that moves her from place to place
[00:23.06]And I think it's just a very special homage to that statement
[00:27.05]And what it can mean
[00:27.87]And how uh important it is to fight for those whose homes are
[00:32.92]Are being compromised
[00:34.14]That home that she's known and loved this entire time might not want her
[00:37.73]But it doesn't mean that it makes any less like home
