[00:00.00]The Power Of The Cross - Stuart Townend
[00:16.01]Oh to see the dawn of the darkest day
[00:23.58]Christ on the road to Calvary
[00:31.27]Tried by sinful men torn and beaten then
[00:38.99]Nailed to a cross of wood
[00:45.85]This the power of the cross
[00:53.48]Christ became sin for us
[01:01.25]Took the blame bore the wrath
[01:07.06]We stand forgiven at the cross
[01:16.09]Oh to see the pain written on your face
[01:23.47]Bearing the awesome weight of sin
[01:31.27]Every bitter thought every evil deed
[01:38.99]Crowning your bloodstained brow
[01:45.80]This the power of the cross
[01:53.59]Christ became sin for us
[02:01.23]Took the blame bore the wrath
[02:07.18]We stand forgiven at the cross
[02:27.40]Now the daylight flees now the ground beneath
[02:35.09]Quakes as its Maker bows his head
[02:42.84]Curtain torn in two dead are raised to life
[02:50.50]Finished the victory cry
[02:57.58]This the power of the cross
[03:05.09]Christ became sin for us
[03:12.79]Took the blame bore the wrath
[03:18.69]We stand forgiven at the cross
[03:34.43]Oh to see my name
[03:37.21]Oh to see my name written in the wounds
[03:44.79]For through your suffering I am free
[03:52.49]Death is crushed to death life is mine to live
[04:00.18]Won through your selfless love
[04:07.08]This the power of the cross
[04:14.49]Son of God slain for us
[04:22.08]What a love what a cost
[04:27.65]We stand forgiven at the cross
[04:35.53]This the power of the cross
[04:42.83]Son of God slain for us
