[00:00.00]My Old Man - Lou Reed (娄.里德)
[00:00.75]Written by：Michael Fonfara/Lou Reed
[00:01.51]When I was a young boy in Brooklyn
[00:03.59]Going to public school
[00:07.42]During recess in the concrete playground
[00:10.10]They lined us up by twos
[00:14.01]In alphabetical order Reagan Reed and Russo
[00:16.86]I still remember the names
[00:20.53]And stickball and stoopball were the only games that we played
[00:27.15]And I wanted to be like my old man
[00:33.71]I I wanted to grow up just like my old man
[00:40.12]I wanted to be like my old man
[00:46.57]I wanted to dress like I wanted to be just like
[00:49.47]I wanted to act like my old man
[00:52.94]I wanted to be like I wanted to act like
[00:55.96]I wanted to be just like my old man
[01:00.92]And then like everyone else I started to grow
[01:07.38]And I didn't want to be like my father anymore
[01:13.91]I was sick of his bullying
[01:15.47]And having to hide under a desk on the floor
[01:20.47]And when he beat my mother
[01:21.66]It made me so mad I could choke
[01:26.93]And I didn't want to be like my old man
[01:33.60]I I didn't even want to look like my old man
[01:39.95]I didn't even want to seem like my old man
[01:46.33]A son watches his father being cruel to his mother
[01:49.43]And makes a vow to return only when
[01:52.76]He is so much richer in every way so much bigger that
[01:55.74]The old man will never hit anyone again
[02:22.35]Like my old man just like my old man
[02:26.18]Like my old man
[02:29.03]Like my old man just like my old man
[02:32.49]Like my old man
[02:33.87]And can you believe what he said to me
[02:35.18]He said Lou act just like a man walk like a man
[02:38.92]Why don't you act just like a man
[02:41.87]Act like your daddy act like a man just like my old man
[02:45.20]Oh why don't you act just like a man
[02:48.13]Like your old man walk like a man
[02:56.03]Just like my old man
[03:02.35]Just like my old man
